Last Friday was so hard for me. I had to live a normal day with coffee, work and all the other normal day to day BS that I have to live prior to going to see the greatest Disney band EVER... Joe Jonas! I mean, The Jonas Brothers!
If you read my blog you know that my very good friend purchased these very expensive tickets (3rd row) to see JB at The Cricket Pavillion in Phoenix. This would have been "boss" for The Kidlet but she was in Houston with my mother for the week. What was a mama to do?
Everyone told me to sell the tickets but I couldn't do that. My friend mostly got the tickets due to my very sick fascination with 18 year old, Joe Jonas. I wanted to go to the concert. My dilemna was who I could take/drag with me. I wanted to force Miranda to fly out here and let us be wild, crazy "cougars" together but she already had plans...ugh!
So, I beg my friend that we will call C. He was reluctant but he finally agreed. Here are my photos, take note the love in Joe's eyeballs while staring at me...
We are at the concert and they are serving beer!

Fuzzy Joe enters the stage....oh my!!!

Sing it Joe!

Joe and the oldest Jonas Brother...no one really knows his name.

You think that I only came to the concert for The Kidlet? HA! I was dancing my ass off...look at my "hot mess"!

I am so damn excited, I can hardly contain myself! I love you Joe!!!!
C's response when I ask him to pose like he is SUPER-PSYCHED for Joe! Take note of the hat, dark t-shirt and long sleeved button down. He also wore sunglasses through 85% of the show...he should just tell his friends that he loves the Jo Bros and stop living "in the closet".

Joe, this was an excellent show. I love you, I know that you love me. One day we will look back on this silly blog and giggle. Or I will be arrested. Smooches bitches!!!

Don't hate me because Joe loves me. Really, don't do it....
I love this song by Katy Perry!
Joe Jonas of Disney's The Jonas Brothers..... hello lover!
I love him. I have loved him for a while in silence but now I am ready to let the entire world know, I love Joe Jonas (and yes for all of you sickos out there, he is 18 and so very legal).
The Kidlet has liked them for a while and I never really took much notice until when we saw Hannah Montana 3D in February. The Jonas Bros entertained between Miley/Hannah and sang, "When You Look Me in the Eye". That is when I fell in lust with the middle Jonas Brother, sweet, sweet, sweet Joe.
If you have yet to have the opportunity to see his lovely face visit:

If you did not catch my L/L from yesterday, a friend of mine did a very sweet thing and bought myself and The Kidlet tickets to see the Jo Bros on July 11th in Phoenix. The Kidlet will be in Texas with my mom but just take a guess which Vox "cougar" will be there with another adult female?
Oh yeah, ME! Loves him, yummy!
I just love good news, don't you? Isn't it funny how one phone call or email can send you into a almost "drunk-like" happiness state of mind?
Also, when I was headed back to the office from lunch guess what I heard on Sirius Satellite? A jam from 8th grade... oh baby... I was wearing Guess mini skirts, big, big, big, big hair and Espirit t-shirts with shoulder pads....
Jam on ladies and gents, jam on...

Happy Monday!
I loved Bush in the mid 90's but this song makes my heart melt. I love it!
With the song, After Tonight by Justin Nozuka... it is magical, a must hear.

I am not a huge fan of the music video but it ain't bad either.
I just gotta find that perfect man now.... WHERE ARE YOU?
So, when Jamie and I split I lost the iTunes library that I so loved. I was upset, it was so quiet in my crib.
I got a new laptop and got my own damn iTunes but starting all over sucks something fierce. I have been downloading music sporadically until today, I had an idea that was so fabulous I shocked myself.
The Kidlet loves the library. The Scottsdale libraries are better than any other that I have experienced. They have recent books, DVDs and their technology is amazing.
I promised her a trip to the "book barn" (AKA the library) today. When we got there as usual she wanted to get on a computer and watch a story. I got her set up and ventured out to look for something Mommy-Friendly.
I approach a section that I have never really looked in prior to this trip, CDs.
The CD collection is extensive and they have a very recent selection. My brain starts sweating when I think of the CDs that I can check out and download into iTunes. For the next thirty minutes I browse the aisles of music and finally decide on twenty of my "must haves" to steal into my very sparse iTunes library.
Don't anyone laugh, I love all of these (and a few for The Kidlet):
Incubus
Joss Stone
Andrea Bocelli
Gwen Stefani
The Hills Soundtrack (STOP laughing, that show has some bangin' tunes)
Phil Collins Greatest Hits
Michael Buble'
Ani Difranco
Fiona Apple
Dashboard Confessionals
Kidz Bop 8
Kidz Bop 7
The Cheetah Girls
The Cheetah Girls 2
The Beach Boys
Sheryl Crow
The Cure
Depeche Mode
Erasure
Chicago (the musical)
I am such a scammer and right now, damn proud of it! In the words of The Kidlet, "WOOO-HA"!
On a side note, we reach 100 degrees today and it is mid April....this summer is gonna be hell.
If you have yet to hear the latest Leona Lewis song, "Bleeding Love" take a listen.
I can't get enough of it.
I have not been a huge John Mayer fan in the past. I thought that his music was hokey. Especially when you inlclude a line that says, "with your bubblegum tongue".... ick, gross, yuck, ugh!!!
I am down with this JM song.
Say, http://www.johnmayer.com/ (hit play on the media player, it is the first song)
Take out of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so called problems
Better put them in quotations
Say what you need to say (8x)
Walkin like a one man army
Fightin with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you’d be better off instead
If you could only
Say what you need to say (8x)
Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You better know that in the end its better to say too much
Than to never to say what you need to say again
Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open
Why?
Say what you need to say (25x)
Audio: What's your favorite carol or holiday song?
